Develop Your Dance Skills (Ages 11+)
Join our exciting Contemporary Dance class led by Dance North’s Participation Lead, Ruth Kent, and guest artists!
This class is designed for young dancers aged 11 and over to develop their:
- Contemporary Dance Technique: Learn fundamental movements and build your skills.
- Improvisation: Explore creating movement through tasks, themes and working with others, to develop your expressive range.
- Performance Skills: Gain confidence and learn how to connect with an audience.
Performance Opportunities:
Our Advanced Dancers have a strong track record, including performances at:
- Eden Court’s Elevate dance showcase
- Riff Raff Producing’s large-scale community production, “The Tale of Ailis & Morag”
- Upcoming feature in Fiona Soe Paing’s show, “Sand, Silt, Flint,” at the Universal Hall, Findhorn.
