Join our Advanced Level class to develop your skills with dance artist and participation lead, Ruth Kent and guest artists.
This class is the entry point to our performance company.
Join us from age 12 years plus to develop:
* Contemporary Dance Technique – build your skills and sharpen your performance
* Improvisation – explore creating movement through a range of solo and group tasks
* Performance Skills – gain confidence within a nurturing and motivating environment
Recent Performance Opportunities have included…
- Eden Court’s Elevate dance showcase
- Riff Raff Producing’s large-scale community production, “The Tale of Ailis & Morag”
- Appearing onstage with vocal artist and digital musician Fiona Soe Paign as part of her Scottish tour
- A Summer intensive with Dudendance physical theatre company
- Creative workshop with Jacob Boehme, indigenous Australian Choreographer / Director
Class Details:
- When: Fridays, from 5th Sep to 5th Dec (please note: no class on 26 Sep, 17 Oct, 24 Oct and 31 Oct). This is a 10-week block course.
- Duration: 2:30-4:30pm
