This week we had a wonderful morning session with our growing SET community at Moray Sports Centre.
Our SET sessions (Sing, Exercise and Tea) for older and more vulnerable community members offer seated dance and movement mixed with gentle exercise to increase mobility, strength and fitness.
Thanks to funding from the Moray Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund distributed by the Scottish Government and administered by Third Sector Interface Moray, these sessions have provide regular opportunities for isolated people in Moray to join an inclusive activity that keeps them well while having fun.
And afterwards there’s always plenty of hot tea, fresh bakes and lively chat to go around.
We also run sessions in Lossiemouth and Dufftown. If you know someone in your family or local community who would benefit from our weekly SET meet ups, you can find out more here.
