Dance a Line Workshop

with Mark Bleakley

How can we make a line dance? Through shape, rhythm or the body. This workshop is made up of explorations of Lino-printing and movement scores to explore how we can work across and with different artistic practices.

Participants will be shown some simple tools for printing and exploring movement. The workshop asks us to create a collective line made through dance and images.

Originally developed for working with participants with low mobility, Mark has redeveloped this workshop to enable different ways of engaging. You are welcome to print, move or do both at the same time if its possible!

Recommendation: bring a spare ’messy’ t-shirt for potential ink stains.
